They have been recognized by a mayor’s Healthy Schools London event

Eleven Bromley schools have been given awards for their efforts to urge a health and aptness of their pupils.

Four perceived china awards and 7 were given bullion awards during a mayor’s Healthy Schools London eventuality on Friday, Jun 24, in approval of a innovative health projects they have introduced.

The winners of a bullion awards were Newstead Wood, Hayes Primary, Midfield Primary, Poverest Primary, Southborough Primary, St Joseph’s RC Primary and Balgowan Primary School.

Silver medals went to Alexandra Junior School, Pickhurst Junior Academy, Perry Hall Primary and St Mark’s Primary.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said: “To build a healthier destiny for London we contingency start with a children and make healthy vital a habit, not a chore.

“The pupils and schools here currently are doing accurately what we wish to see some-more of: training about a sourroundings in their lessons, planting fruit and veg in their propagandize gardens to prepare in their canteens, and doing their bit to purify adult a city’s atmosphere by walking to school.

“They are doing a good pursuit and we honour any and each one of them. we wish to inspire all of London’s schools to follow in their immature footsteps and pointer adult to Healthy Schools London.”
